Mercedes has revealed its brand new CLS Shooting Brake, a luxury estate that combines the functionality of an estate with the fashion of a coupe.

If we look at the mouth to the top of the windshield, the layout has no differences to the standard Mercedes CLS. But going to the back though, the extended topline and side windows creates the exclusive style as they arc beyond the rear wheels.
Mercedes confirmed five trim designs to choose with the CLS Shooting Brake, three different qualities leathers choices, three wood-surface finishes and for the most exigent buyers an interior trim in porcelain is also available.
With the UK launch in late 2012, the Shooting Brake will be available in two engines variants, combined with 7G-Tronic Plus automatic transmission and Stop/Start System. The 250 CDI BlueEfficiency diesel, which is the entry-level generates 200bhp and 139g/km of CO2 emissions, fuel consumption is stated at 53.3mpg. The next level six-cylinder 350 diesel develops 260bhp and 159g/km, while the combined fuel consumption is 47mpg.
