They contributed to a result of a new way of looking at what compact cars should provide to buyers, especially wide space and comfort.

The new Korean compact – which is based on the Hyundai i20 platform aspires to perform the good results of the previous generation (860,000 units sold worldwide in 6 years). The new Rio will have a global market. Europe will see, though, only three and five-door versions. The brand new Kia Rio is 70 mm longer than old version and offers a boot with 292 liters in the five-door and 390 liters in the sedan.
