Peugeot HX1 Concept brings a clever design at Frankfurt

Peugeot HX1 Concept with clever design.

The French auto maker has released a couple of visuals of its Peugeot HX1 Concept, just ahead of the vehicle’s world debut at 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. The design of the innovative MPV shows a very low balance within the fact that it is possible to seat up to six adults while keeping a remarkably low drag coefficient: just 0.28. Those numbers were achieved thanks to a few clever design strategies such as some particular side skirt and spoiler work as well as the clever wheel blades system that open up to create a flat area.

The front wheels are pushed from a 204-hp 2.4-liter turbo-diesel engine, while an electric motor takes care of the rear axle. At the end the Peugeot HX1 Concept produces 299 hp while and the fuel efficiency states 88.3 miles per gallon.
