Lexus presents the new LF-Gh concept at the New York International Auto Show (April 22 to May 1), a full hybrid prototype which anticipates the future design of the Japanese vehicles. This concept is driven by “Lexus Hybrid Drive”  system and already used in the latest hybrid Lexus. The initials LF-Gh (Future Lexus Hybrid Grand Touring) are a intents statement with the aim of strengthen the role of the brand on the category of hybrid luxury premium, already conquered on the Japanese market.

The Lexus LF-Gh shows off the big size to represent a style sport sedan. This concept is 4.89 meters long, 1.89 wide and 145 cm high, with a wheelbase of 2.85 meters, while tires are different between front and rear: 245/35 R 20 and 285/30 R 20.

The front is featured by a wide air intake with burnished finish that dominates the entire front section, however, seems to break a bit with recent patterns of the brand and obviously reminds some of Audi. The side of the car immediately struck by the lack of mirrors which are replaced by cameras, this solution gives a more streamlined design, but also improves the aerodynamic Cx. The rear lights are outstanding for the well integration into the tailgate and the futuristic design.
