The Zafira Tourer Concept, prototype anticipating the Zafira III, shows a design inspired by a high-speed train and pick up items both from Ampera as lights shaped like a boomerang and from the particular blade shape on the bottom side that features all the recent Opel.

The most fundamental part of the Opel Zafira Tourer Concept lies in the cockpit architecture and its system called “Flex7” which allow to rear passengers to stretch their legs, setting up the seats in a “lounge” mode. Worth mentioning is the attention that the German designers have addressed to the inside-lighting, since it’s believable that light affects the passengers welfare.

The attention is mainly reserved for the occupants of the rear passenger area, but the comfort of the two front passengers increased by the touch screen inserted in the center console and the bridge equipped with a compartment holding a tablet or a laptop. The same media devices can also be used from the rear seats, thanks to some holders on the back, where you can also surf internet with Wi-Fi connectivity.

The engine of the Zafira Tourer Concept is the Opel petrol 1.4 with technology start/stop. The two side exhaust pipes connects by an aluminum part, which recalls the metal strip under the rear window. In side view dominate the wheels 245/40 R 20 alloy twin-spoke painted matte gray.

increasing the leg room for rear passengers is a great change for most of the people, and also placing some holders for lap tops or tablets is a good move which can provide great comfort for us.
