Audi has updated the Audi A6 engine’s range, there are now two diesel versions: a 2.0 TDI with 177 hp and a 3.0-liter TDI 204 hp.
The 2.0 TDI with 6-speed manual transmission, should get a combined fuel consumption of 4.9 l/100 and 129 g/km of CO2. According to the German carmaker, Audi A6 2.0 TDI reaches 228 km/h, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.7 seconds. The average price in Europe is € 41,000.
3.0 TDI S tronic version is available only with four-wheel drive and dual clutch 7-speed S tronic. Audi says the car takes about 7 seconds on the 0-100 km/h and reaches 240 km/h, with its 204 hp. Despite the excellent performance, the average consumption is about 5.7 l/100 km and 149 g /km of CO2. Average prices, for an Audi A6 3.0 TDI S tronic, starts at € 51,000.
Other engines are avilable with the 2011 Audi A6: a 2.8 FSI V6 204 hp and V6 3.0 TFSI 300 hp both petrol and one more diesel 3.0 V6 TDI 245 hp with manual and automatic transmissions and front wheel drive or full. The A6 Hybrid will arrive later, with petrol engine 2.0 TFSI 211 hp combined to an electric motor of 45 hp and 211 Nm. The Audi A6 Avant is instead expected before the end of 2011.
