Seat has launched the European version of the Exeo sedan and station wagon equipped with the 2.0 TDI common rail turbodiesel engine – with 143 hp and 320 Nm of torque – combined with the Multitronic continuously variable automatic transmission.

The new automatic transmission is offered as optional extra at € 2,000, now finally installed to the common rail 2.0 TDI 143 hp, but until now was reserved for the most powerful engine in the range, the 2.0 TSI with 200 hp. The only engine’s change, is the adoption of a new radiator “compact”, developed to reduce temperatures and, consequently, lower nitrogen’s oxides emissions. The performance is essentially unchanged from versions 2.0 TDI already in list: top speed 208 km/h, acceleration from 0 to 100 in 9.3 seconds, a cycle average consumption of 5.8 liters per 100 km, 153 g/km of CO2 emissions.

This innovation, developed for the Exeo sedan and Exeo ST station wagon will be available as pre-sale in the up-coming days. The marketing and first deliveries are scheduled for May, with European prices from € 28,000 for the 2.0 TDI Multitronic Exeo and 29,000 € for the Exeo ST.
