Fiat Group unveils the Lancia Thema, the rear-drive sedan based on the Chrysler 300 and to be sold in the European market. Lancia’s new flagship will be available in Gold and Platinum fittings with three engines: the V6 petrol Pentastar 3.6-liter 292-hp eight-gear automatic transmission and 3.0-liter V6 turbodiesel VM 190 hp and 224 hp, both with automatic 5 speed gearbox. The petrol Pentastar V6 3.6 Lt 292 hp, can reach 230 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.2 seconds.

According to official information, many components were specially designed for the chassis of the new Thema, in order to obtain a driving quality more in tune with tastes of European drivers.
For the new italian’s model are offered a series of standard optional such as many active and passive safety devices, including the Keyless Enter-N-Go and the Active Protection Pedrestrian to limit the damage in the event of accidental impact. Standard are also Xenon adaptive headlights.
